What are you first impressions of your programme? Does it meet your expectations?
"The LUMID programme has exceeded my expectations with its rigorous coursework and emphasis on critical thinking. The supportive environment and diverse perspectives in discussions among faculty and students have been inspiring and invaluable."
What have been the highlights of your first months in Lund?
"Some highlights include engaging discussions with classmates from around the world and exploring Lund’s picturesque, historic campus. I enjoyed participating in extracurricular activities like the Swedish self-leadership programme which has also been incredibly enriching."
What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden?
"The Swedish collaborative teaching style encourages critical analysis and open dialogue. I appreciate the emphasis on practical applications and group work which fosters teamwork and problem-solving skills. This approach has made learning more interactive and engaging."
How international is your programme?
"The LUMID programme is highly international, with students from diverse countries and professional backgrounds. This diversity brings unique perspectives to class discussions and projects. It is an incredible environment to learn and collaborate globally."
What are you most looking forward to in your programme?
"I’m excited about the internship component, which offers real-world experience in development work. I also look forward to enhancing my understanding of development challenges through collaboration with classmates and faculty."
