Malign hypertermikänslighet
Malignant hyperthermia is a hereditary muscle disease, which can be triggered by anesthesia. This may result in a potentially life-threatening increase in the metabolism. Evaluation of the patients occurs mainly through muscle biopsi, sometimes with mutation diagnostica. The MH unit i Lund is a national centra. The reasech can be divided in 2 parts:

Clinic and epidemiology: Epidemiological studies will be performed originating from our large patient material.
