Description

HUMINFRA is a national infrastructure for research in the Humanities and Social sciences, funded by the Swedish Research Council. HUMINFRA is led by ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Humanities Lab and consists of 12 universities and organisations across Sweden with expertise in e-scientific / digital materials, research tools and experimental methods for the Humanities. HUMINFRA aims to (1) create a web-based information platform that compiles and links to existing Swedish data collections, tools, expertise and educational opportunities; (2) create new national courses in e-science / digital methods for the humanities; (3) prepare Swedish membership in the European Consortium for Cultural Heritage Data, The Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH-EU); and (4) disseminate knowledge about these methods and tools to researchers and other stake holders and create new opportunities for collaborations.
