Current scholarships and when to apply

A small number of scholarships from Swedish foundations are open for applications each autumn (usually late September–early October) and spring (usually March–April).

Calls for applications to scholarships that are relevant to current international students at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ are published below.

Please note that we only accept scholarships applications that are submitted during the application period.

How to apply

You apply for the scholarships from Swedish foundations through a form in the application system, unless stated otherwise. Any supporting documents also need to be submitted digitally. 

Carefully read through the call for applications to make sure that you are eligible to apply. In the call for applications, you can also learn which supporting documents you need to submit in order to make a complete application. 

Decisions and payment

The time it takes to process applications varies for the different scholarships. Decisions are sent to all applicants via email. The decision will contain information on next steps to secure your scholarship.

The scholarships are usually paid out during the semester in which they have been announced.
